For April, we’re presenting powerful short films from the Third World Newsreel retrospective (1968-1972), documenting grassroots movements for land sovereignty both domestically and around the world. This program showcases movements in the Dominican Republic, Palestine and New York City.

Through guided conversation, “Behind Her Eyes” is an opportunity to engage with the artists as they reflect on their journey from idea to execution—sharing early concepts, challenges, and moments of clarity along the way. This event offers an intimate look into the process behind each body of work.

For Grandma’s House is a pop up art show fundraiser featuring the work of Kevelis Matthews-Alvarado in various forms including analog work, prints, zines, stickers, more! With a curated food and drinks menu and special poetry performances at 8pm, join us for a night of art, music, poetry, and community in support of a tender cause; all proceeds will directly support repairing the walls and roof of their grandma's house prior to the stormy season– pay what you can!

Join us for an afternoon of artist talks from the current exhibitions! Masina Frank & Ella Konefal will discuss their collaborative exhibition GOD’S WORK, Suzanne Seesman will moderate a discussion with Lane Timothy Speidel about their solo exhibition Practice Patience: An Exhibition of Slow Works, and there will be a special viewing with remarks of Until Next Time by KT Pe Benito.

The question is, can he read them? (*A solo performance perennially helped by friends along the way, most especially imaginary ones.)

With the launch of our Spring/Summer 2026 season, Spindrift is back with a special dance-forward edition like you’ve never seen us before! We’re joined by Germany’s bambinodj, NYC’s Coldsteel, and our own Philly icon Jewelssea, who will traverse ultra contemporary modes of mangled pop, leftfield club beats, and global ethereal dance music. This one’s for the coffee ravers, the laptop heads, the spiritual baddies, the jet setters, the gym rats, the art school dropouts, the melbourne shufflers, the creative anachronists, the soundcloud rappers, and everyone in between. A day of skill shares taught by artists about what they like to do while they are waiting. All skillshares are free to attend, with a $5 suggested donation per skillshare. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Light snacks will be provided. This day of workshops is being held in connection to Practice Patience: An Exhibition of Slow Works by Lane Timothy Speidel.
