Holding Fast

Anna Neighbor
Friday, December 5th - December 28th, 2008

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

The works in Holding Fast signal an aesthetic departure for Anna Neighbor, who uses and reworks found imagery as a way to gently examine the deep seated desires and fears that are both satiated and exacerbated in the act of photographing life, and in the revisitation of life through photography.

Anna lives in Philadelphia and works as an Adjunct Professor of Photography at Rowan University and Moore College of Art and Design. She is also the Exhibitions Coordinator of Vox Populi Gallery, where she has been a member since 2007. Anna received her MFA from Tyler School of Art in 2006 in Photography, and has exhibited most recently at Current Space (Baltimore) and Three Walls (Chicago).
