With the launch of our Spring/Summer 2026 season, Spindrift is back with a special dance-forward edition like you’ve never seen us before! We’re joined by Germany’s bambinodj, NYC’s Coldsteel, and our own Philly icon Jewelssea, who will traverse ultra contemporary modes of mangled pop, leftfield club beats, and global ethereal dance music. This one’s for the coffee ravers, the laptop heads, the spiritual baddies, the jet setters, the gym rats, the art school dropouts, the melbourne shufflers, the creative anachronists, the soundcloud rappers, and everyone in between. Join us at Vox Populi. Something truly significant will occur.
Headlining the bill will be bambinodj, a legendary figure in the online electronic music ecosystem, whose recent album on Ian Kim Judd’s OST and his self-released productions are a touchstone of the entire Spindrift vibe and sound. Bino’s productions create a singularly sweet and ethereal universe rooted in the rhythms of amapiano, dancehall, and afrobeat, mingled with pop sensibilities and reinterpreted as a warm memory wafting through the air. His productions feel both lightly radiant and rhythmically heavy-hitting, and it will be an absolute treat to present his Philly debut.
NYC’s Coldsteel likewise presents a hypermodern, post-genre approach to dance-pop music. His recent album Global Entry on DJ Python’s worldwide unlimited label evokes riding in the passenger seat with the windows down, Ibiza-core trance-pop on the radio, glass towers glistening in the sun. Tears in your eyes, but knowingly cheeky at the same time. His live performances are full of theatricality and surprise, breaking thru the conventions and artificiality and tropes of Contemporary Music to give us a glance of something real.
JEWELSSEA has risen as one of the most beloved club DJs in our fine city, flexing her love for high-energy styles like footwork, jungle, Bmore club, breaks, and more at parties like Highbeam and Making Time. Spindrift invites her to do a live set of her original material, which brings dreamy vocals, delightfully aquatic synths and a tender, emotional side together with her love of drum-forward club styles. Her productions bridge the gap between headphone music and dancefloor music beautifully, and we’re hyped to invite the Philly legend to the Spindrift stage.
Our very own SPINDRIFT DJs, the minds behind the genre-defiant event series you know and love, will open and close the evening with their patented selections.
