ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Pagan Putters, a group show with works from Jerstin Crosby, Isaac Lin and Josh Rickards with an isolated event by Conny Purtill. This group exhibition is based on the relationship between these artists and their predecessors. No matter the media, or purpose, there is an unspoken yet constant relationship with artists who have come before. A history that you have to be aware of. These artists deal with this in a number of ways from direct references to past artists and influences (Jan Dibbets and Geroge Grosz) to a more general ideas of mark making and appropriation.
