Community Relief Fund for Folks Experiencing Loss of SNAP Benefits

Future Flower Collective presents Bloom, our Pop Up exhibition series highlighting the works of Queer artists based in Philly. This exhibition will be centered around raising funds for folks in our community who have experienced food insecurity due to loss of SNAP benefits at the hands of our government. During this exhibition we will feature a silent auction; which means you will have the chance to purchase original art works from showcasing artists. This will be the perfect time to buy gifts for loved ones, support a great cause benefiting our community, and even add original art to your personal collection. Proceeds will be going toward a fund that will be distributed directly to members of our community who are in need. If you buy tickets in advance using our eventbrite link and donate between $15- $20 you will be entered into a raffle to win prints of artworks by showcasing artists!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Future Flower Collective is a DIY art collective based in Philadelphia. Formerly known as The Future is Us Collective, we started our journey in 2017 as young high school artists looking for spaces that centered our voices. Since then we hosted various events centering the voices and the work of Queer artists of color based in Philadelphia. Our mission is to bridge gaps of inequality for BIPOC queer artists by increasing access to spaces that are free and safe for artists and attendees to build community. Through the years, we’ve remained dedicated to this vision of a more inclusive future in the Philadelphia arts and culture scene. (@FUTUREFLOWERCOLLECTIVE)
