Longshot (formerly known as The Feast) is a monthly showcase series of experimental comedy and performance art highlighting works in progress. The show allows for artists and performers to explore long format work that has never been shown before and provides audiences with a unique experience and the opportunity to let people know, “I saw it first”.

For the month of May Longshot is presenting Egg show, the only talk show hosted inside an egg. Join your host Liam Paris for an experience like no other. With Guests, Games, and Change, it’s a learning experience that will benefit us all. This first show in the series focuses on routine – how to cultivate it, what to add to it, and how to change our paths before it is too late. And at the end? We’ll (hopefully) crack out of this thing!

About the Artists

Liam Paris is a Jersey native and Philadelphia transplant, who has done performance and comedy across the tri-state area. Liam has performed at Punchline, Helium, and Good Good comedy theaters. Additionally, he has performed at the Philadelphia Fringe festival, receiving "best comedy" in 2019 with the sketch show "Riot in Rittenhouse" and an honorable mention in 2023 for his work in "Todorov's Dirty Laundry: improvised tragedies". Producing and hosting multiple monthly sold out shows in philadelphia, his long running weekly standup showcase "Off Leash Comedy" was featured in thrillist as a "Top live comedy show"  His video work has been featured at the club video showcase in new york, and philadelphia film society's philly video showcase. He has trained in improv and sketch at the UCB theater (in their advanced study program), and trained in devised theater and clown at the Pig iron school.  Liam  holds the title of "Prettiest comic in Philadelphia" which was appointed to him by himself.

Lea Devon Sorrentino is a multimedia and performance artist based in Philadelphia. Her practice is an auto-ethnographic investigation of her life in pursuit of understanding the contradictions of American success. She uses humor and popular culture to investigate the emotional investments we place in possessions and entertainment to create individuality. Or, in not art speak, she wants to know why we love things that hurt us and cry at reality television. Lea has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and is known for introspective storytelling of American and digital culture. Her work encompasses installation, video, service aesthetics, thoughtful writing, and performance. These endeavors had her named among the “Artists to Watch″ by the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN. Sorrentino has been a member of the Vox Populi collective in Philadelphia since 2019 and has attended several artists’ residencies. She received her Bachelor of Arts at Temple University, Tyler School of Art and a Masters Degree at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
