Announcing Collective Futures

A Citywide Festival of Artist-Run Spaces Premiering Fall 2026

We’re thrilled to announce Collective Futures, a citywide celebration of Philadelphia’s vibrant ecosystem of artist-run spaces, DIY venues, and community-driven art initiatives.

Launching in Fall 2026, Collective Futures will bring together more than 25 independent spaces and organizations for a six-week festival of exhibitions, performances, workshops, and public programs exploring the creative power of collectivity.

Spanning neighborhoods from Kensington and North Chinatown to West Philly, Fishtown, and Old City, the festival highlights how grassroots cultural spaces shape civic dialogue, support underrepresented artists, and imagine more connected and sustainable creative futures.

By activating artist-run spaces across the city, Collective Futures will offer accessible arts experiences for local residents while fostering new networks of collaboration and care among Philadelphia’s creative communities.
