ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Puetro Rican multi-media/performance artist Roxana Pérez-Méndez presents a new installation, Siempre Hace Frio. Having always been a nation of immigrants, the United States was the portral to the “American Dream”, a place where anyone can succeed with enough hard work. Siempre Hace Frio look into the emotional effect of migration on its women, not only those born abroad but also those born in the United States, and speaks to their strength, fire and passion to survive.
