Perceptual Acceleration: The Failure of Space and Time within the Liberated Observer and Observed
Dustin Sparks
Friday, November 4th, 2011 - Sunday, November 27th, 2011
This exhibition is an observation into the inherent fallacy of thought and the cyclic ramifications of the thought process pertaining to the conceptual division of subject and object underpinning the scientific method; in which, knowledge has become a game of isolate accumulation. In order to participate, the implication of a singular concern is required: appearance.
Operating beyond appearance, perceiving art to be the actualization of metaphysical constructs, this observation derives motive within an ongoing wider investigation into the phenomenon of cognitive dissonance; in regards to the resonate implication of a contingent based free will.
On a base level, parasitically relying on the scientific method, this observation is a movement to combine thoughts in order to create a flowing cumulative essence of perception, dependent and accessible to human experience.
Observationally, this exhibition evaluates and engages the life-long dialogue of American-born British quantum physicist David Joseph Bohm.
Dustin Sparks was born in an unknown geographical location and tried to survive. His studies were derivative at their best and ultimately incomplete and insignificant. He has no exhibition history to note and has never been interviewed. He is basically unimportant so there is no need to view his exhibition, stay home.
